Gun belonging to murdered man found

By BBN Staff: Orange Walk police are investigating the discovery of a gun belonging to a man who was killed in April. 

According to police reports, yesterday around 7:28 am, police conducted a search on an abandoned house in San Jose village, Orange Walk. 

There, cops found one Marlin .22 rifle. 

The gun was registered to Eleazar Chan, 42, a customs broker of Louisville village, Corozal, who was found murdered on April, 1, 2018. Story here: https://www.breakingbelizenews.com/2018/04/01/suspected-easter-weekend-murder-in-corozal/ 

 The gun was labeled, sealed and deposited as exhibit. 

 Police investigations continue.
