KHMH gets new CEO

BBN Staff: The Board of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital announced last week that Michelle J. Cox Hoare is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the KHMH.

Hoare is a career Registered Nurse Administrator with 33 years of experience in the Belizean Health System.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Administration and was previously the Director of Nursing Services at the KHMH.

Hoare has held various administrative positions at the national level within the Ministry of Health such as Director of Licensing and Accreditation Unit and Quality Assurance Coordinator.

She has also worked as Program Officer at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The KHMH welcomes her wealth of knowledge and experience as their new CEO.
