Dangriga man killed while socializing with friends

BBN Staff:  Around 12:45 this morning, police responded to the ‘Bacaktown’ area in Dangriga Town, where cops found Melvin Locke, 50, with several apparent gunshot wounds.

According to police, Locke was socializing inside a yard with several others when they were approached by a gunman dressed in camouflage attire.

He fired four shots toward Locke, two of which injured him to the head and chest, eventually killing him.

According to police, three persons have been detained pending investigation.

Police have been unable to establish a motive for the murder.

Investigations are ongoing.
