He has been identified as Melvin Locke Jr.

According to credible reports, he was socializing in the “Backatown” area of Dangriga town when a gunman emerged.

The shooter fired indiscriminately, hitting the elderly man.

He was rushed to the Southern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Information to BBN is that Locke is originally from Belize city but recently relocated.
