PM Barrow to deliver remarks at CARICOM Heads of Government meeting

By BBN Staff:  Belize’s Prime Minister Dean Barrow, who is currently in Jamaica, is set to speak at the Caribbean Community and Common Market (CARICOM’s) Opening Ceremony of the 39th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government.

The meeting is set to start today, July 4, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. (Jamaican Time) and will be ongoing until July 6, 2018.

Preceding the Opening Ceremony, Adrian Saunders will be sworn in as the new President of the CCJ at 3 p.m.(Jamaican Time)

The event will be addressed by: CARICOM Chairman, Prime Minister Andrew Holness of Jamaica, Outgoing Chairman, President Jovenel Moise of Haiti, Prime Minister Mia Mottley of Barbados, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell of Grendada, Prime Minster Gaston Browne of Antigua and Barbuda, and CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque.

Remarks will also be delivered by CARICOM Chairman, Prime Minister Andrew Hollness of Jamaica, Prime Minister Dean Barrow of Belize, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves of St Vincent and the Grenadines, CARICOM Secretary-Gneral Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, Outgoing CCJ President Sir Denis Bryton and New CCJ President Hon. Mr. Adrian Saunders.
