Harmonyville Man charged for robbery

By BBN Staff: Belmopan police have arrested and charged a twenty-three-year-old man from Harmonyville village for beating up a businessman yesterday morning.

The businessman was closing his place at St. Mathew’s Village just before 1 am when he was attacked by the lone culprit.

The culprit used a stick to severely beat the businessman and then he stole the van and made good his escape.

However, quick police response led to his capture in Harmonyville Village, Belize.

Today, Santos Eduardo Lopez was charged for robbery.

Police have not yet indicated if Lopez will be additionally charged for aggravated assault.
