Roaring Creek resident charged for stabbing

By BBN Staff:  Today, police formally arrested and charged Germaine Joseph, 30, of Roaring Creek Village for the crime of attempted murder and the use of deadly means of harm for stabbing Nelson Twist.

Twist, 45, reported to police that on June 30, 2018, while he was at home, he and his sister got into an altercation and as a result, two men interceded and started a fight.

Throughout the fight, he was badly beaten and received seven stab wounds. He was then transported to the Western Regional Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police investigation revealed that an argument between Twist and his sister led to his stabbing.
