Three officers from Eastern Division Region One honored

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, Commander of Eastern Division Region One, Howell Gillett and the Belize Police department recognized three police officers for their outstanding performance.

The officer of the month award for May went to Corporal Christopher Smith of Precinct Two while officer of the month for June went to Corporal Evaristo Cob.

PC Alexander Shal was also recognized for his support to community outreach programs like the GREAT and cadet programs.

Cpl. Smith received a dinner for two at Chon Saan.

Cpl. Cob received a dinner for two at Radisson and PC Shal received a gift certificate from Dibary.

“This is our way of telling our officers good job and we fully appreciate what they’re doing,” Gillett said.

Gillett thanked the business community for the support for their initiatives.
