Tropical wave brings more rains

BBN Staff: The National Meteorological service of Belize is today reporting that a tropical wave currently over our area is supporting showery weather conditions.

Cloudy skies with some showers and thunderstorms are expected over most areas.

The wind will blow from the East at 10-20 knots.

The sea state will be moderate to rough.

A small craft warning is in effect gusty winds and locally rough seas near thunderstorms.

High temperatures are expected as follows: In the coast, 86 degrees Fahrenheit; 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 78 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills, 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

The extended forecast tomorrow is for cloudy skies with some showers and thunderstorms.
