Man shot in Punta Gorda town

By BBN Staff:  Punta Gorda police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday.

Kenworth Jackson, 29, was shot while riding his bicycle around 12:00 a.m. on July 11.

Jaskson was riding near Hollywood basketball court when two men approached him. One of them fired three shots, which hit him in his back.

Jackson is listed in a stable condition.

Police investigations continue.
