Marie Sharp wins “Superior Taste” award in Brussels, Belgium

BBN Staff: Two of Marie Sharp’s products, the Fiery Hot and Exotic Steak sauces, recently won international accolades yet again in Brussels, Belguim, for its superior taste.

This isn’t the first time the Belizean brand has been recognized internationally.

Marie Sharp perviously entered and won the 20th Food and Beverage Competition of Dusseldorf, Germany where she won Gold. In 2013 she entered the Anuga Food Fair in Cologne and made the prestigious “Taste13 Showcase” and placed in the top 3. She was also honored by Belize’ s Special Envoy for Women and Children as a woman trailblazer in 2014. In 2016, she was inducted into the Hot Sauce Hall of Fame for her famous pepper sauces and in 2017, Sharp’s products also won golden awards twice in 2 out of 3 categories at the German Chilli Award in Hanover, Germany.

Marie Sharp’s hot sauces can be seen on shelves all over Belize and other countries in Central America, North America, Asia, Europe and even Oceania.
