Minor, 14, raped and 10-weeks pregnant

By BBN Staff:  Belmopan police are investigating a report of rape in their jurisdiction.

A 14-year-old Belizean minor reported to police that on April 26,  she had sexual intercourse with her boyfriend in Valley of Peace.

A medical examination was conducted and witnessed by a social worker. The examination revealed that the female minor was carnally known and 10 weeks pregnant.

Police investigations continue.
