Resort in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye robbed of over $16,000 in cash and items

By BBN Staff: San Pedro police are investigating a burglary that occurred yesterday morning.

Around 8:36 am, police went to Portofino Resort in San Pedro Town and spoke to the manager who reported that around 1 and 2 am, the main office of the resort was burglarized.

The culprit/s took (2) metal safe, a cash pan and one cell phone valued at $400.00.

All to a total combined value of $16,030.00

Police investigation continues.
