September Celebrations 2018 Theme Selected: “Belize Da Fi Wi – Now & Forever, 8867”

By BBN Staff: The National Celebration Commission today announced that the winning theme for the 2018 September Celebrations is:“Belize Da Fi Wi – Now & Forever, 8867”.

Corozal resident Fernanda Tun was this year’s winner and she received a cash prize of $1000 and a special invitation to the official ceremonies in September.

Last month the National Celebration Commission opened the competition to all Belizeans living at home and abroad.

Belizeans were encouraged to enter the contest with multiple entries and with no more than ten (10) words for the theme.

This year, there were 196 themes submitted by 70 contestants around the country.
