Tacos vendor robbed in Belize city

By BBN Staff: Belize city police are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday morning.

Geisy Sauceda Molina reported to police that around 10:00 a.m., she was at her tacos stall located at miles 2 ½ on the Philip Goldson highway, when a man approached her and ordered some tacos.

He got his order, left and then returned 10 minutes later with a gun.

The culprit then demanded that Molina hand over her black cash pan, which contained $300 inside. He then fled with the money.

Police investigations continue.
