36-year-old woman raped in Caye Caulker

BBN Staff:  Police in Caye Caulker Village are investigating a rape incident that happened yesterday.

According to reports, a woman reported to authorities that around 4 AM yesterday a man forcibly entered her room while she was sleeping and raped her.

The woman was transported to the KHMH for medical examination and the doctor certified that she was carnally known.

Police are investigating.
