Teen robbers robbed vendor of ‘pocket change’ but civilian took away their gun and opened fire at them

By BBN Staff: On Sunday night the peace was shattered in the southern community of Seine Bight Village when a man was shot in his face.
He has been identified as Kadeem Augustine, 21.
Reports are that Augustine was socializing in a private residence when he was shot in the jaw.
Augustine has been listed in a stable condition at the Southern Regional Hospital.
Police have not yet established a motive but suspect that the shooting was caused by a misunderstanding between a group of youths in the village.
Police are investigating.
