In a brief ceremony held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Belize City, Minister of Natural Resources Hugo Patt received the donation.

Patt shared his gratitude on behalf of the Government of Belize while reiterating how the funds will play a major role in upgrading the existing Landfolio Information System of the Ministry.

Patt said that the donation will contribute to the Ministry’s efforts to improve the efficiency of administering land transactions and enabling improved service delivery to the public.

The Landfolio System is an application used by the Ministry of Natural Resources to manage information on all registered land throughout Belize.
