Police investigating burglary at Quality Poultry Products in Corozal Town

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at Quality Poultry Products and Chicken Express in Corozal Town yesterday evening.

According to reports, the manager of the company reported today that she locked up the business yesterday evening around 5 pm and this morning when she arrived to work at 8 am, she noticed that the store had been burglarized.

The manager believes that someone entered the establishment by cutting the padlock off the shutter.

The culprit/s took a gray metal safe containing $5,000.00 in cash, $500.00 in gift certificates, and 15 blank cheques with serial numbers from 13215 to 13230.

Police are investigating.
