Christian Varela charged for drug trafficking

BBN Staff: Corozal police intercepted a passenger bus at the corner of 7th Avenue and College road in Corozal Town yesterday morning and conducted a search.

Police searched  Christian Varela, 19,  however, nothing incriminating was found on him.

Police then searched his bag and found 2 parcels of weed totaling 3.19 pounds.

Varela has since been arrested and charged for the offense of drug trafficking.
