Man allegedly killed in Belmopan for his bicycle

By BBN Staff: Franklin Tut, 19, is the second man to lose his life in Belmopan on Saturday night.

The Maya Mopan resident entered a bar in San Martin just before midnight when a man followed him inside.

The man then took out a knife and stabbed him in the neck.

Tut was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital where he succumbed to his injury.

Sources close to the deceased told BBN that this incident was caused by a dispute over a bicycle. However, police have not yet confirmed this allegation.

Hours before Tut’s death, Ronnie Blades, 32, was also stabbed to death.
