Libertad Revival Cup Committee removes Mossiah from competition

BBN Staff: Today, the Libertad Revival Cup Committee issued a release to inform that due to the recent attack on referee, Yuri Daniels, on Sunday, the committee has since decided to ban Darnell Mossiah and the team he plays with from the competition.

The committee condemned any sort of violence against any sport official, especially those against a female.

The committee says that it has been working very hard to instill leadership, discipline and respect in youths through sports in the community.

The committee has organized a competition for adults and teenagers to bring back 11-a-side football in Corozal especially in Libertad.

According to the committee, the incident is an unfortunate one and has occurred all over the world in the sport.

Furthermore, the committee clarifies that the incident was not due to a lack of security and not being registered as an event.

The committee says it will continue to work toward the upliftment of football in Corozal to keep the players and teams active.
