The MoU signing took place at the National Institute of Culture and History in Belmopan, and was signed by the President of UB, Professor Emeritus Clement Sankat and the President of NICH, Sapna Budhrani.
The MoU serves to provide a framework for understanding and cooperation between both parties.
This collaboration is designed to strengthen the momentum and achievements of their common goals and functions in the perspective of national development.
Both UB and NICH agreed to cooperate, wherever possible, in their collective efforts and resources, to share knowledge, expertise, data and information in order to strengthen the common interests and respective missions of the institutions.
The Memorandum of Understanding took effect at the signing on August 14th, 2018 and will be in effect for a period of five years.
