7.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Venezuela; also felt in several surrounding countries

By BBN Staff: This afternoon, a massive 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook Venezuela.

According to reports, the quake was also felt in Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, and in Bogota, Columbia.

The United States Geological Survey informed that the quake’s magnitude was 7.3.

The quake was captured on live television in Venezuela since it interrupted a pro-government rally.

The tremor was centered near the town of Guiria in Venezuela.

A tsunami advisory has been issued in the Caribbean.
