Belize City Council gives back to children of deceased employees

By BBN Staff: Since the start of this year, the Belize City Council has lost 11 of its workers.

Those eleven employees left behind 32 children.

Today the council led by Councilor Ryan Elijio organized a back to school drive for the children.

Each child received a school bag and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

“We cannot forget the contributions the parents of these children made to our city,” said Councilor Elijio.

According to him, this will be an annual event.
