As we had previously reported, the council opted to cut the municipal bram normally held on September 10th because its budget was cut by 20 percent by the National Celebrations Committee.
Today Faber, who chairs that committee, expressed regrets for that development.
Furthermore, he pledged to assist the council with $10,000 to proceed with the event.
And so, for now, all indications are that the 10th bram will be back in the calendar of events for the September celebration.
