Police investigating shooting in Belize City last night

BBN Staff:  Police are investigating a report of a woman who was shot last night in Belize City.

According to reports, shortly before midnight last night, Dawn Parchue was riding her bicycle on Croton Lane, Belize City when a lone gunman approached her.

The culprit fired several shots at Parchue.

Parchue sustained injuries to her stomach and leg.

She was then taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment and is listed in a critical but stable condition.

Police investigation continues.
