By BBN Staff: Yesterday Justin Lemoth, 29, was sentenced to prison for the 2014 death of Richard Waight Jr., 19.
Justice Adolph Lucas handed down a sentence of 15 years but because Lemoth has already spent some time on remand, he will only serve an estimated 10 years.
Last month in a trial without jury, Lemoth was found guilty of manslaughter in the death of the teenager who was stabbed dead during an altercation on a basketball court in Hattieville.
The crown was represented by Shanice Lovell, while the defense was represented by Leslie Hamilton.
