Home destroyed by fire last night in Punta Gorda

BBN Staff: Police are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a cement house in Punta Gorda last night.

Around 8:45, police were called to Landy’s Place in the Indianville area of  Punta Gorda town and saw a cement bungalow structure completely destroyed by fire.

At the time of the fire, the tenant, Enrique Barrientos, 34, was not at home.

All of Barrientos’ belongings were destroyed by the fire.

The fire was extinguished by fire personnel, and the value of damage is unknown.

Police investigation continue.
