Man killed in Belize city last night

BBN Staff:  Police are investigating a shooting incident that took the life of a Belize city mechanic last night.

Around 8:00 last night, police went to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and saw the body of Francis Pollard, 23, of Arlington drive.

Pollard’s body had several gunshot wounds.

He was reportedly walking on Boots Cresent and upon entering a house there, he was approached from behind by a lone gunman who fired several shots at him.

Pollard succumbed to his injuries.

Police investigations continue.
