Prime Minister departs the country for medical treatment

BBN Staff: The Office of the Prime Minister today informed that Prime Minister, Dean Barrow, left the country today to undergo spinal surgery in Cuba.

During his absence, Patrick Faber, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture, will act as Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Barrow is scheduled to return to Belize on Friday, September, 21.
