Armed robbery on Belize City’s north side

BBN Staff: BBN has been reliably informed that there was a robbery earlier today in Belize City.

We understand that armed criminals entered Premium Wines and Spirit on Newton Barracks and demanded cash.

The cashier reportedly handed over 56 thousand dollars in cash and an undisclosed amount of cheques.

Police are investigating.
