The plane reportedly ran a bit off the runway in San Pedro Town.
Shortly after the incident, Tropic Air issued a statement saying that after their pilot elected to abort the takeoff, the plan exited onto the shoulder of the runway.
Tropic Air reassured that none of their passengers were injured and the plane was not damaged.
It was later towed to the Tropic Air maintenance facility and passengers were accommodated in another flight.
Tropic Air is gathering additional information and will provide details as soon as it is available.
