Thatched shed destroyed by fire in Toledo

BBN Staff: Police are investigating a report of arson in Crique Sarco Village, Toledo.

About 3:30 pm yesterday, police went to the village and saw a thatched structure completely destroyed by fire.

The structure belonged to Senaida Canelo.

Police investigation revealed that Canelo has a land dispute with a man who allegedly burnt some bushes on the land that resulted in the thatched structure being destroyed by the fire.

The structure measured approximately 10feet by 14feet.

It was valued at $1,000.
