Thieves get almost a million dollars from Western Freezone

By BBN Staff: Police in western Belize are investigating the theft of almost a million dollars.

Information to BBN is that sometime before 4 a.m. today thieves entered the Kortabaco building at the Western Freezone.

Once inside, the men made off with a whopping US $400,000.

Surveillance footage revealed that the men were wearing mask and so their faces were not easily recognized.

Police are investigating.
