Carnival road march champions announced

BBN Staff: The Carnival Road March 2018 was held on Saturday September 8.

This year’s Carnival was a vibrant display of color and merriment for the many carnival bands, floats, impromptu revelers and on-lookers.

For three junior and three senior carnival groups, the pride of displaying and being a part of Belize Carnival 2018 will be complimented with the bragging rights and titles of Best in Show for the Carnival Road March.

They will also be able to collect the cash prizes for their category and their rank in the Road March.

Below are the place finishers for Carnival Road March 2018 in the Junior and Senior Categories:

Junior Carnival Group         Prize

1st – Collet Royal               $7,000.00

2nd- Black Pearl                $5,000.00

3rd- Soca Massive               $3,000.00

Senior Carnival Group                  Prize

1st – Titans                                   $10,000.00

2nd- Soca Moca                            $6,000.00

3rd- Mother Nature                          $4,000.00
