Alleged murderer of gang boss on the run for four days and counting

Posted: Thursday, September 13, 2018. 6:47 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: In March of this year, reputed Ghost Town Gang boss, Kendis Flowers, was shot dead on Mahogany Street in Belize City.

Police believe the man who took his life was Kevin Bodden, 25.

Bodden who had been wanted since March was captured on September 9th.

However, while at the policing holding cell at precinct three, he asked to use the restroom.

That was when he reportedly escaped and now remains wanted again.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Police, Alejandro Cowo, the officers at cell block during the escape have been placed on disciplinary action.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams today weighed in on the matter.

He said, “It is a matter of grave concern to us. Once a prisoner is in our custody, we must ensure we do our best to keep in our custody until the court decides where he goes next.

“In this particular incident with Mr. Bodden, we have rules that govern cell block area. The rules were breached by officers working there during the particular moment,” he added.

And so for now, Bodden remains on the run for four days
