Annual Belize Market place expo commences tomorrow

BBN Staff: The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will be hosting its annual Expo Belize Market Place this weekend.

This year’s Expo will take place on September 15 and 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the ITVET Campus on Freetown Road in Belize city.

This year’s Expo will provide Belize’s businesses a wonderful opportunity to highlight their products and services and update the Belizean public on their accomplishments.

The Expo Belize Market Place also has the participation of the public sector, which will provide the general public with information as well as the participation of the Belize American Chamber of Commerce.

The Expo has evolved over the years into a vibrant market place, where businesses have an audience to test and develop new business ideas.

The event consists of 97 companies and 197 booths coming from as far north as Corozal town and as far south as Punta Gorda.

The BCCI Invites the public to take advantage of the local, food, drinks, giveaways, handicrafts and amazing deals that will be offered only at the Expo.

Entertainment will be provided by DJ Fadda Jesse Supa Furia Band, and live performances by Ernestine Carballo, Terry & the Brukdown Band and Cocono Bwai with special Host, DJ Dalla.

There will also be spectacular gate prizes that will be raffled each day of the Expo such as cash prizes, groceries, a round trip ticket to the United States Courtesy United Airlines and much more. Adult tickets $5.00 and children 3-11 pay just $3.00.

Tickets can be purchased at BCCI on Coney Drive, Doony’s on Albert St, Toto’s store on Orange St, 88 Shopping Center on Central American Blvd and Low’s Supermarket at 8.5 Miles Northern Highway, all locations in Belize city.
