Fire destroys home in Hopkins Village

BBN Staff: Police are investigating a fire that destroyed a house in Hopkins Village, Stann Creek District.

Around 12:30 am yesterday, police went to Hopkins and saw a wooden structure measuring 30×30 completely engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished by personnel from the Fire Department.

The home belongs to Clifford Augustine,41 who is presently out of the country.

The cost of the damages is unknown.

Police investigation continues.
