Half dressed and drunk police officer to face disciplinary action

BBN Staff: Police constable, Aldrick Borland, is facing internal disciplinary actions by the Belize Police Department.

This is because footage of him apparently inebriated at the Corozal Border has gone viral on social media.

He is seen shirtless in his police trousers.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvette, Borland was taken to the Corozal Police Station last week where he was served with disciplinary charges.

Myvette revealed that Borland is assigned to the border but was not on duty at the time.

Today he is scheduled to appear before a Tribunal to answer to the charges against him.
