Chinese businessman robbed at gunpoint in Maya Center, Stann Creek

BBN Staff:Police are investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Maya Center, Stann Creek.

Around 8:30 last night, police responded to a robbery report in the Maya Center Village, Stann Creek District.

Chinese businessman, Jinhong Zhuang,31, reported to police that about 8 p.m. he was inside his store when he was approached by four men.

Two of the men were armed with guns.

The 4 men robbed Zhuang of $2,400 in cash and 3 cell phones valued at $2,000.

Police investigation continues.
