PUP Cayo Central honors George Price on National Service Day

By BBN Staff: Today marks the seventh anniversary of the passing of the Father of the Nation, George Cadle Price and is commemorated nationwide as National Service Day.

The People’s United Party executive and supporters countrywide are participating in community service activities to share the love and remind Belizeans of Price’s legacy.

Today, as part of their National Service Day initiative, the PUP Cayo Central Committee took warm meals and Big H juices to several senior citizens in Georgeville Village and Santa Elena, Cayo.

In Belize City, the PUP Party Leader, John Briceno and other party officials held the annual laying of the wreath ceremony at Price’s grave to commemorate his contributions to Belize.
