PUP celebrates legacy of George Cadle Price

BBN Staff: Belizeans countrywide are today commemorating the seventh anniversary of the passing of the Father of the Nation, the Right Honorable George Cadle Price.

This morning, the People’s United Party (PUP) held a laying of the wreath ceremony in Belize City which was attended by Party Leader, John Briceno and other party dignitaries.

The Party Leader also participated in a tree planting ceremony as part of National Service Day at Dolphin Park in Belize City.

Later today Briceno is scheduled to meet with the Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Their discussion will focus on the Belize-Guatemala relations.

In Orange Walk Town, Briceno will participate in a tree planting ceremony then attend a mass to culminate National Service Day.
