Posted: Thursday, September 20, 2018. 1:58 pm CST.

BBN Staff: Security officers of the Central Bank of Belize (CBB) that are represented by the Christian Workers Union (CWU) will get a 10 percent pay increase following the signing of a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the CWU and CBB.

The CWU announced this morning that the new agreement will last for three years, running retroactively from January 1, 2018, through to December 31, 2020.

The union said that the CBA also governs the working conditions of the non-managerial Staff of the Central Bank’s Security Department, 15 of whom are CWU Members.
