Thief gets away with $6,000 in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday in Belize City.

Around 12:33 pm yesterday, Pedro Gudiel,33, a salesman for Fiesta Chicken told police that when he entered his delivery truck and was about to close the door, he was approached by a man.

A struggle then ensued between him and the man who managed to open a small compartment inside the truck and took a black bag that had $6,000.

The man then escaped.

Police investigation continues.
