Man shot on Independence Day in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Leroy Waller, 37, remains hospitalized in a stable condition after he was shot last night.

According to police reports, Waller was at a residence on Neal’s Pen Road when someone opened fire.

He was shot in the neck and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Waller is the only person to have received gunshot injuries in Belize City on Independence Day.

Police are investigating.
