Baseball and Softball Foundation to Discuss Proposal to Build Fields and Stadiums in Belize

By BBN Staff:  The Belize Visionary Foundation of Baseball and Softball, a non-profit organization, today issued a release informing that they will host a Press Conference on Friday, September 28, 2018, to share its vision, immediate goals, and some important news regarding proposals to construct state-of-the-art, world-class baseball fields and stadiums in Belize. 

According to the release, the event will take place at the Sports Council office at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex at 10 am. 

Founder and President of the Foundation, Carlyon Flores, Sr, Vice President, Anthony Smith, Marketing Director, Salvador Rodriguez, Acting Chief Recruitment Agent, Troy Williams, and Skills Development Coordinator, Andrew Tramel will be there to answer questions from the media. 

The Belize Visionary Foundation of Baseball and Softball comprises of eight (8) registered members, who are seeking transformation of the socioeconomic status of Belize’s citizenry through job creation, being an agent for positive changes in our society, and helping to alleviate poverty and crime, particularly for the marginalized. 

Among the Foundation’s long-term goals is to establish a professional baseball league in Belize, in order to attract international interest in local talent for recruitment and training related to baseball and softball.
