By BBN Staff: Suspected gunman, Steve Crawford, 22, spent his first night behind bars last night.
That is after having been charged with 2 counts of attempted murder, 2 counts of dangerous harm, and 2 counts of use of deadly means of harm.
Because of the nature of these charges, Magistrate Khadeem Palmer could not provide bail and remanded him into custody until November 26.
Crawford is accused of shooting Jermaine Garbutt, 35; and Everal Neal, 40, on the night of September 19th.
Both victims were at a home on Neal Penn Road in Belize city, when they were approached by two men on a motorcycle.
One of the men reportedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire.
According to police, this shooting was connected to an earlier stabbing incident at Pier One which left three men injured.
