Student assaulted in a church bathroom 

Staff: Police are investigating an assault report in Belize City.  

Authorities say that a 12-year-old student accompanied by her mom reported that on September 23, 2018, they went to church and then her daughter asked to use the church bathroom. 

The student says that upon exiting the bathroom, a man was standing in front of the door.  

The man then grabbed and pulled her into the bathroom, where he assaulted her indecently. 

 Police are investigating.
