Man who sexually assaulted minor in Church bathroom arrested

BBN Staff: Police in Belize City have arrested Bensford Bennett, 27, for sexually assaulting a minor last week.

According to reports, the female minor, 12, and her mom were attending a church service when she told her mom she was going to use the bathroom.

Inside the bathroom, she was sexually assaulted by Bennett.

Police have since arrested and charged Bennett, a Belizean of a Belize City address for the crime.
